Protection of personal data

Ethias SA, the data controller, collects your name, first name, company name and e-mail address in order to inform you of the creation within the Ethias Group of the Ethias Lease* company and the launch of its car leasing activities and to manage all your requests for information.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent carried out prior to withdrawal.

Ethias only keeps your personal data for the time that is required for the processing for which they were collected.

Once all purposes have been fulfilled, the data is deleted.

This means that personal data is kept until you unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

If you have not consented to receive this newsletter, your personal data will be stored for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the e-mail exchange with Ethias SA.

In the context of the above-mentioned purposes, and until the creation of Ethias Lease, your personal data may be communicated to:

• Ethias employees;
• our subcontractors, namely our IT service providers (NRB, Afélio, etc.)

As soon as Ethias Lease is created, your personal data will also be accessible to Santander employees, experts in operational car leasing.

You can access your personal data and have them corrected by means of a dated and signed request accompanied by a photocopy of both sides of your identity card, addressed to:

In addition, in some very specific cases, the GDPR regulation allows you to ask for the limitation of the treatment, to obtain a copy of your data (right of portability) and to ask for its erasure. However, this right to erasure is not absolute.
